Modern missions change faster than traditional development cycles. Black Spire is being built around direct operator input, rapid iteration, field-informed design choices and close coordination between engineering, testing and manufacturing teams.

Unmanned and Autonomous Platforms

The initiative is intended to advance unmanned aerial systems (UAS), while drawing on Farage Precision's broader experience across unmanned ground and maritime technology. Focus areas include system architecture, payload integration, mission-specific configurations, ground-control interfaces and supportability.

Edge Computing and Intelligent Systems

Black Spire's development roadmap includes exploration of compact edge-computing architectures, onboard data processing, resilient communications and mission-relevant electronic integration. Technology discussions include potential Intel Panther Lake applications, with specific product and partner claims subject to validation.

Rapid Prototyping to Production

Drawing on our engineering and manufacturing relationships, we intend to combine additive manufacturing, 3D printing, mechanical design, prototyping, test and evaluation, and production planning to shorten the distance between concept and usable capability.

Black Spire is intended to emphasize U.S.-led engineering and manufacturing pathways, security-aware supply chains, and appropriate regulatory and end-user compliance. International technical relationships may support selected components or capabilities where permitted.
