This is an in-depth course designed for the individual wanting to learn the fundamentals of concealed carry. The course covers the following:
- Gun Safety;
- Concealed Carry Basics;
- Crime and Terrorism Overview;
- Situational Awareness;
- Gear Selection / Criteria;
- Personal Defense in the Home, Society, and Vehicle; and
- Practice Strategies for Success.
The course is designed to take a new shooter from the fundamentals to being competent in drawing from concealment and engaging a target effectively. This class does cover the Virginia Concealed Carry training requirements.
In addition to the roughly 4 hours of class time, 1 hour of private one-on-one range time will also be incorporated as part of the class. Ammunition and firearms are not provided; however, if needed I can help arrange.
